SCHWARTZ:  Funeral service for Arnold Schwartz, 74, of the Yorkton and District Nursing Home and formerly of the Rhein district, who died June 8, was held June 12 from Christ Lutheran Church in Rhein with Rev. Daphne Bender officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery with Bailey's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Born Aug. 3, 1927 in the Rhein district to Alex and Mary Schwartz, he spent most of his life in Rhein, and moved into the nursing home 16 years ago.

Predeceased by a brother, Rheinholdt, and his father, both in 1984, and his mother in 1985, he is survived by a sister, Irene (Walter) Liebrecht of Rhein.

PASLOSKI:  Funeral service for Vincent Joseph Pasloski, 73, of Rama, who died June 16 at Canora Hospital, was held June 22 at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Rama with Rev. Andrew Sowa officiating. Burial was in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church cemetery with Leson's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Born on July 19, 1928, to Peter Magdalene (Ternowski) Pasloski northeast of Rama, he attended Dobrowody and Rama schools. On Aug. 18, 1950, he married Sophie Pucha and they took over the family homestead. They raised hogs and he drove a school bus. When they retired to Rama, he was active on the village council and was a member of the Golden Jets.
