Husband, wife dead following double shooting

Police are investigating a double fatal shooting that occurred in Kamsack last week.

Kamsack RCMP were called shortly after 6:30 a.m. on May 4 to the residence of Adolphus and Peggy Musqua, located on the 300 block of Third Street, where they had discovered a deceased male outside.

On Friday, police confirmed that the body was Adolphus George Musqua, 50.

Peggy Ann Musqua, 34, had been discovered injured inside the home and was taken to hospital by emergency medical services.  She died shortly after being admitted to hospital.  The couple had been operating the Garden park Diner in Kamsack.

Police confirmed that there had been five children in the home at the time of the incident, all of whom were eight years of age or under.

A firearm had been involved in the incident, according to Brian Jones, RCMP media relations officer in Regina. The initial investigation indicated that Peggy Musqua had been shot and injured.  This was followed a short time later by Adolphus Musqua taking his own life outside the home.

Regina RCMP major crimes as well as Yorkton RCMP forensic identification units are assisting in the investigation.

Remembering you is easy,

We do it every day;

But missing you is the heartache,

That never goes away.

Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through,

We will always love you and remember you.

- Always loved and sadly missed by wife, children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.

NOWAKOWSKI:  In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Jason, who passed away May 14, 199 at the age of 15.

It is said that time does not wait for men.

Yet in a heartbeat my thoughts melt away the years,

And I can see you again.

Your footprints in the sand of time,

Were few, but brave and deep.

I’ll not forget – for through my life,

I’ll carry you with me.

The time will come for all of us,

When there’s not need for earthly things.

Family roots grounded you to us,

Now heaven has given you wings.

- We’ll love you forever and always, Mom, Dad, Jennifer and Jordan.
