Sudden death investigated

Investigation continues into the sudden death of a 53-year-old Canora man, whose body was discovered Monday afternoon in a house on the 100th block of Third Avenue East in Canora, said Cpl. Brian Jones of RCMP media relations.

The cause of death has not been released as the investigation continues, he said.  Canora RCMP are being assisted by the Yorkton RCMP Forensics Section and the Regina RCMP Major Crimes Unit.

While the RCMP investigation has extended across the back alley from the deceased’s house to a garage which burned early Sunday morning, it is too early to determine if the incidents are related, said Jones.

The Canora fire department was called at 2:20 a.m. Sunday to 116 Fourth Avenue East, said Darcy Rewakowsky, deputy fire chief.  Fire had engulfed the building by the time the firemen arrived.  The department contained the fire and prevented it from spreading, he said.

In loving memory June 5, 1981 – October 30, 2004

I’m Free

Don’t’ grieve for me for now I’m free.

I’m following the path God has laid you see.

I took His hand when I heard His call.

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I found the peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joys,

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

O yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow.

My life’s been full, I savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts, and peace to three.

God wanted me now; He set me free.

Always remembered, always loved--Mom, Dad, and Conrad

Those we love don’t go away,

They walk beside us everyday;

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Still loved, still missed, and very dear.

NAZAR:  In memory of Tony Nazar.

It’s hard to believe, three years ago today,

We, as a family, suffered our great loss;

Without a farewell, you fell asleep,

With only memories, for us to keep.

Our broken hearts never mend,

Our memories will never end;

Our teardrops never dry,

Our love for you will never die.

-Isabel and family.

Since we lost you.
