PASOWESTY: In loving memory of Rose who passed away November 1, 1999.

A heart of gold stopped beating,

Working hands at rest;

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

Leaves and flowers may wither,

The golden sun may set;

But hearts that loved you dearly,

Are the ones that won't forget.

-Always in our hearts, Gladys, Theresa and Marie and families.

ZIELINSKI, STAN November 3, 2004

There is someone who misses you sadly,

And finds the time long since you went;

There is someone who thinks of you always,

And tries to be brave and content.

Gone is the face we loved so dear,

Silent the voice we loved to hear;

Tis sad, but true, we wonder why,

The best are always the first to die.

-Forever loved and missed, Darcy, Tammy, Keshia, Chantal, Keely-Che.

STERANKO: It is with great sadness that the Steranko family announce the sudden passing of their brother and Uncle Mike on October 12, 2006 at North Keldonian Personal Care Centre, Winnipeg, Man., at the age of 74.

Mike was born to the late Steve and Martha Steranko who farmed north of Stenen. He attended Frame Lake and Brush Valley schools. At an early age he left home to seek employment, which took him to Northern Manitoba where he worked at saw mills and other various jobs. Later on he found himself in Winnipeg where he landed a job with Dominion Bridge. This job took him to different points in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. He worked himself up to superintendent and was also supervisor for Oil Refinery Services in Winnipeg. He remained with the company for many years. He purchased a house and made Winnipeg his home. Mike had many talents. Art and love of music was just a couple of them. He loved playing guitar and fiddle and loved jamming with his friends. In his spare time you could find him in his garage doing woodwork, building furniture, etc.

Unfortunately, later on in life he suffered a stroke which left him paralysed and confined to a wheelchair. Forced to retire, he sold his home and went into a nursing home where he remained until his passing.

Predeceased by his parents Steve and Martha, brothers Laddie and Pete, infant sister Stephie, sister Julia. He leaves to mourn his passing: brother John (Rose) of Stenen; sister Ann Kowalchuk of Preeceville; sister Mary (Gene) Grey of Omak, Washington; sister Helen Scheschuk of Preeceville, plus many nieces, nephews and friends.

Forever loved your family.

Interment to take place at a later date.
