DANYLUK: In loving memory of our mother and baba, Emily, who passed away September 28, 1996.

We do not need a special day,

To bring you to our mind;

The days we do not think of you,

Are very hard to find.

Each morning when we awake,

We know that you are gone:

And no one knows the heartache.

As we try to carry on.

Our heart still aches with sadness,

And secret tears still flow;

What it meant to lose you,

No one will ever know.

Our thoughts are always with you,

Your place no one can till;

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we love you still.

-Sadly missed and always remembered by Debbie, Leonard, Nolan, Ryan, Brett, Richard and Jacob.

Florian was born in Canora on February 9, 1938. He was the son of Carl and Frances Batycki (nee Grzebinski) of the Danbury area. Florian attended South Porcupine School District #4017 and helped out on the family farm.

As a young man, he enjoyed time with brothers and sisters, played baseball and learned to play guitar and violin. In 1965, he married Katherine Rudnisky from the Swan Plain area. In 1967, he started a drywall company in Canora, and embraced the arrival of his daughter Michelle. In 1980 he settled the family on an acreage near Gorlitz. While on the acreage Florian also worked as a cabinet maker. Family enjoyed many sing-a-longs as Florian played guitar. Florian also cherished times spent with loved ones on the Batycki family farm at Danbury. In 1989, with the kids out of the nest, Florian and Kathy again spread their wings. They lived and worked in Coquitlam, Cranbrook, Kelowna and Vernon. In 1998 Florian retired with his wife to Canora, where they enjoyed card games, visits, and the company of family and friends. With deepest sorrow and profound love we remember Florian.
