Adelaide Joyce Britt

Adelaide Joyce Britt 73, Glace Bay Adelaide Joyce Britt, 73, of 41 Fifth St., Glace Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 18, 2002, at the Glace Bay Healthcare Complex. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Ada (Weir) Britt. She was a faithful member of Warden United Church.

Joyce is survived by her brother, Eddie, his wife, Barbara, and by two nephews, Edward and Donald. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Warden United Church, Wednesday, May 22 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eric Lynk officiating. A private
interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church hall. Donations in Joyce's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
