GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN Alex Alfred Michalkow
On October 25, 1979, Mr. Alex Alfred Michalkow of 5235 - 48 Avenue, Redwater, Alberta, passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his loving wife, Katherine, two sons, Randy and his wife, Colleen of Winnipeg and Michael of Redwater; three brothers, Mich of Edmonton, John of Vernon, B.C. and Joe of Winnipeg; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Agnes) Trach of Winnipeg and Mrs. Ben (Lena) Kerdil of Canora, Saskatchewan. Mr. Michalkow was predeceased by his mother, Victoria in 1959; by his father, Peter in 1968; by a sister, Ann in 1956 and by a brother, Anton. Prayers were said on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the Redwater United Church. Funeral services were held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Branch No. 251 in Redwater. Rev. Neil Lackey officiated. Interment took place in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Redwater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Benevolent Fund, Redwater, Alberta.
