GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Percy ORR

The death occurred in the Military ward of the County hospital, Saint John, Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock or MR. Percy Orr of this city. Deceased had been suffering from the effects of gas poisoning received on the battlefront.  The body is being brought to the city this morning to the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. Jas P. Comeau, Naple street from where the funeral will take place at an hour to be announced later. The late Mr. Orr was in his 27th year. He joined up with the 104th Battalion and transferred to the 5th C.M.R. with when he served in France. He was wounded in the battle of Vimy Ridge. Since he returned home he had been suffering from the effects of a gassing received at the front. The deceased is survived by his wife and one child, Robert, one brother, also survives Mr. Alfred Orr, CNR Baggage Master of this city, five sisters also survive, Mrs. Jas P. Comeau; Mrs. John Weir, and Mrs. Laura McLeod of this city and Mrs. Fred Gaggon and Miss Muriel Orr of Taunton, Mass.
