GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN Elizabeth (Betty) Weir (Mrs. Everett Rooney)
The death of Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty Weir) widow of
Everett Rooney of 28 Lorentz Drive, Moncton occurred Monday at Moncton
Hospital after a brief illness. She was 58. Born in Moncton she was the
daughter of the late Grover and Mabel (Weir) Tarrance. She attended St. John's
United church. She was a member of the ladies division of Beaver curling club.
Her husband died in July of 1973. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Rod
Myles (Lynn) of Fredericton land Mrs. Bruce Read (Evelyn) of Moncton, four
sons, John, Peter and Mark all of Moncton and Greg Rooney of Saint John, 1
sister Mrs. Sam Richardson (Rita) of Naples, Florida and 8 grand children
several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
