GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Annie Weir (Mrs. Norman Sinclair)

Mrs. William Crockett, 145 Cameron Street, received a telegram yesterday from her brother-in-law, Mr. Norman Sinclair, of this city, to the effect that her sister, Mrs. Sinclair, had passed away Thursday morning in a hospital in New York City. The late Mrs. Sinclair was born in this city, July 22nd, 1862.  She was the daughter of the late Jonathan Weir, and the wife of Mr. Norman Sinclair, to whom she was married over thirty-eight years ago. Mrs. Sinclair is survived by her husband, who was with her in New York, one daughter, Edith, now Mrs. J.H. Quirk, of New York City, and three sisters, Mrs. James Bayne, and Mrs. Wm Crockett, both of this city and Mrs. H.B. Gooderich, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Sinclair left the city about a fortnight ago, seemingly quite well.  She went first to Montreal, then to New York, where she was at the time of her death.  The remains will be brought here for burial. Mrs. Sinclair was always very active in church work.  She was a member of several organizations in St. John's Presbyterian Church, where she will be greatly missed.
