GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN Cecil M. Weir
Cecile M. Weir, 87, died Friday morning at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in London, England, on Sept. 2, 1900, daughter of the late Cecil and Jessie Hamilton Weir. A lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, she was the former owner of J.B. Montgomery Lumber Co. in Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Hamilton Weir and V. Hamilton Weir. Survivors include two nieces, Mary Dolores Weir of Erie and Patricia Wellman of Libertyville, Ill., and a nephew, Ronald J. Weir of Erie. Friends may call at John J. Quinn Funeral Home, W. 9th and Liberty, a Golden Rule member, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held a the funeral home on Monday at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Peter Cathedral at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. |
