GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

George Francis Weir

George F. (Nap) Weir, 81, of Jordan Memorial Home, River Glade, and former of 454 Elmwood Dr., Moncton, died Tuesday at his residence after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Frank and Catherine (Scott) Weir. A retired welder, he worked in the Halifax Shipyards during the Second World War and later worked with the City of Moncton and Canadian National Railways. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie (Bishop) Weir; three sons, Ronald of Eastern Passage, N.S., Norman of Ellicott, Md., and Lorne of Winnipeg; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Fearn and Mrs. Frances Fearn, both of Ormstown, Que.; and several grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, Harry, died previously. The body will be cremated. A memorial will be held Friday at Church of the Nazerene, Moncton, at 7 p.m. Internment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, Moncton.
