GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN Agnes Park (Mrs. Jonathan Weir)
Funeral of the Late Mrs. Weir. The funeral of the late Mrs. Jonathan Weir, whose death occurred on Monday afternoon, was held Thursday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Norman Sinclair, Cameron street. A large number of friends assembled, paying their last tribute of respect to the deceased lady. The service, which was an impressive one, was conducted by Rev. Mr. Fraser, of Halifax, who is supplying at St. John's Presbyterian Church in the absence of the pastor. The pallbearers were her son, John P., her two grandsons, Frank Weir and Blair Bayne, and her three sons-in-law, James Bayne, Norman Sinclair and William Crockett. The remains were taken to Elmwood cemetery for interment.
