John Park Weir

Moncton, Aug. 18 - John Weir a well known citizen of Moncton died this morning. He had been ill about 3 weeks with typhoid fever. He conducted a foundry business for a number of years in this City but for the past 6 years had been engineer at the City pumpstation. He was 60 years of age and is survived by his wife formerly Miss Amanda Milton of Albert County and two sons, W. Fred of Manchester, N.H., and William J. of Moncton also two daughters Mrs. C.C. Torrens and Mrs. A.A. Humphrey of Moncton.  Deceased was a prominent Mason and was also member of the Knights of Pythias.
