In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PEACH, Micah John Ross - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Micah John Ross Peach, who left us peacefully on March 29, 2026, at the QE2 Infirmary. Micah was born on January 18, 1960, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Buckler Troop and Ruby Elizabeth Troop (Fulton); his parents, John Turner Peach and Doris Josephine (Troop); his oldest sister, Robin Peach (Knowlton); and his younger brother, Jeffrey George Peach.
In his younger years, Micah proudly served in the Navy as a radar plotter aboard the ship Fraser. He traveled to many beautiful places around the world—experiences he carried deeply in his heart and loved to share through his stories. He had a true passion for the sea and the adventures that came with it. Later in life, he worked in construction, where he applied his strong work ethic and skill.
Micah had a deep love for music and was a talented guitar player. He wrote his own songs and found great joy in singing and playing. Music was a constant in his life and a source of comfort and expression. As he often reflected, “One good thing about music—when it hits you, you feel no pain. Music washes away the soul from the dust of everyday life.”
He is lovingly remembered by his sister Susan and his three younger brothers, Adam, Andrew, and Marty.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Kaulbach Funeral Services.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 11, 2026, at the Round Hill Hall from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
Micah will be deeply missed and forever remembered. (Kaulbach Family Funeral Home)
