In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
BROWN, Bruce Milton - Passed away peacefully in Oshawa on Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 in his 90th year. Devoted and beloved husband of Elsie; lovingly remembered by sons Bruce (Marilyn) and Barry (Alison) and by grandchildren Matthew and Lindsay. Bruce served with the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII and was a longstanding member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 23, the Rorab Shrine Club and the Rameses Temple. A gathering will be held in Bruce's honour at the Rorab Shrine Club (1260 Brookes Street, North Bay) on Saturday, July 4th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J 2L4 (905- 721-1234).
