STEPANIAK, John - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, Friday, January 15, 2010. John Stepaniak beloved husband of Sheila Stepaniak (nee Hummel) in his 77th year. Dearly loved father of Brian Stepaniak. Dear brother of Frank Stepaniak (Eileen) . Predeceased by his parents Mary and Albert Stepaniak and a brother Albert Stepaniak (Lucianne surviving). John served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a radar technician for five years and then was an employee of Canada Post. Family receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home, Monday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church, Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy mass offerings are preferred, or donations to a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
