HMCS PATRIOT, Esquimalt, 09 Mar 1921

 

Patriot's crew in front of Victoria Machinery Depot. Patriot arrived in Esquimalt harbour on 09 Mar 1921. In Apr 1921, and after completing refit, Patriot sailed first to Vancouver and then to Comox where they took part in exercises. On 09 May 1921, Patriot touched ground entering Nanaimo - she was able to get back to Esquimalt for repairs, however this accident further delayed her departure to Halifax. Patriot finally got underway on 04 Jun  1921 and arrived in Halifax, NS on 30 Jul 1921.
