ALLISON, Albert Ernest, AB, V8402, RCNVR, MPK - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - son of Alexander and Euphemia Allison; husband of Dorothy Isabelle Allison, Hamilton, ON.

 

AB Allison died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN G07, was sunk in the English Channel on April 29, 1944.

HMCS STADACONA - Drafted to STADACONA 27 Mar 1941 as an OS, RCNVR

HMS SALOPIAN - Drafted to SALOPIAN 29 Mar 1941.  HMS SALOPIAN was a Royal Navy Armed Merchant Cruiser that was sunk on 13 May 1941, two weeks after AB Allison was drafted off.
