Harry enlisted in the RCNVR on 08 June 1938, service # V5472. He transferred to the RCN on 31 May 1941.

HMCS ST LAURENT - Served in St Laurent 01 Jun 1941 - 12 Jun 1942 as an ERA 4c / ERA 3c, RCN

HMCS REGINA - Served in Regina 26 May 1942 - 02 Aug 1942 as an ERA 3c, RCN

HMCS ATHABASKAN - Drafted to Athabaskan 04 Feb 1943 as an ERA 3c, RCN
