In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HEWARD, John Edisforth - On August 17, 2002 in his eighty-fifth year, after a long illness, joined his wife "Betty" Heward (nee McLean) who predeceased him. He will be missed by his sons Peter John (Suzanne), Robert Arthur (Jane), grandchildren Glenn (Dana), Kimberlee, Roger and Brian; great-grandson Jarred, as well as his sister Marjorie Eastham (Baye). A memorial service will be held Friday, August 23, 2002 at 1 p.m. at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 222 Highway 20 (Cartier exit 49) for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Veterans Hospital or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. Special thanks are extended to all staff of (10A) at the Veterans Hospital for looking after "Poppa." (The Montreal Gazette 21 Aug 2002)
