Died: 10 Apr 2019, Digby, Nova Scotia


ROSS, Kenneth George - age 86 of Cornwallis, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2019 in Digby Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late William and Florence Ross. Ken served in the RCN from 1950 to 1975 reaching the rank of Warrant Officer First Class. Upon retiring from Canadian Forces, he served for several years with the Corp of Commissioners' at CFB Cornwallis. Ken enjoyed travelling and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed gardening. He was also well-known as an incredible storyteller, whom could always make you laugh. He is survived by sisters, Joyce, Oshawa; Jacquelyn, Halifax; wife of 65 years, Mary, Cornwallis; sons, Donald, Edmonton; Robert, Moncton; Alan, Cornwallis; Peter, Oshawa; Steven, Ottawa; daughter, Stacy, Pickering; grandsons, Druce, Ottawa; Grant, Halifax; Nickolas, St. John; granddaughters, Robin, Halifax; Danielle, Sussex; Sharon, Annapolis Royal; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway 303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (Halifax Chronicle-Herald 16 Apr 2019)
