AB John Hubert Gallant died in a car accident on 09 Jan 1954 near Lower Onslow, NS when the car he was in crashed through the guardrail at the Ishgonish River bridge and slid down the embankment into the river. He was buried 13 Jan 1954 in Summerside, PEI.
