KNOX, Mervyn H. - 29, of Ottawa and formerly of Baker Settlement, died Tuesday in Ottawa. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Harold and Hazel (Zwicker) Knox, Baker Settlement. Surviving besides his parents and his wife, the former Maxine Walfield, Rhodes Corner, are two daughters, Melina, Melisa, both at home; a sister, Cecilia (Mrs. David Kaizer), Lower Sackville; a brother, Randall, Baker Settlement; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Zwicker, Wileville; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Knox, Baker Settlement. The body will be at Wamback Memorial Chapel, Bridgewater today after 11 a.m. A military funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bridgewater United church. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Baker Settlement. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. (Halifax Chronicle Thursday, 15 Jan 1975 / Researched by George Newbury)
