Born: 1924

 

Died: 04 May 2014

 

WALSH, Donald E. - Veteran of World War II with Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, on active service aboard HMCS Trail and HMCS Portage. Dad passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2014. Pre-deceased by his cherished wife Isabel, (nee Mack). Loving father to Kathleen (Richard), Kevin, Brendan (Ellen), Brian (Bonnie), Sean, Patrick (Jennifer) and Timothy (Carolyn). Proud grandfather of Mark, Erin, Aileen, Krista, Kyra, Patrick, Keelin, Gillian, Liam, Caitlin, and the late Ryan. Dad was "Uncle Donny" to many nieces and nephews . He will be greatly missed by all of us and by his many friends. Visitation on Thursday, May 8th,2014 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, Sherbrooke St.W Montreal. Church service on Friday, May 9th,2014 at Saint Gabriel's Parish at 11:00 am. Burial at the Field of Honour Cemetery, Pointe-Claire at 12:30 pm.

 

Donald's twin brother Carl J. Walsh also served in the RCNVR during WW2.
