Died: 15 Feb 1987, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

MURLEY, Charles Edward - 56, Dartmouth, died Sunday in Stadacona Hospital, Halifax. Born in Charlottetown, he was a son of the late William and Marion (Thorton) Murley. He was a warrant officer serving his 32nd year in the Canadian Navy. He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Gratton; three stepdaughters, Catherine (Mrs. Gerald Whalen) Oromocton, N.B.; Doreen Pearson, Dartmouth; Carol Pearson, Montreal; three stepsons, Danny Pearson, Calgary; Chris Pearson, Comox, B.C.; Donnie Pearson, Dartmouth; three sisters, Margaret, Millie and Lorraine, all of Prince Edward Island; three brothers, Bill, Dick and Oliver, all of Prince Edward Island; 10 grandchildren. The body is in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Church of the Redeemer, Dartmouth. Cremation will follow. Burial will be at sea at a later date.
