Lewis Evans was born 09 Feb 1926 and lived in Saskatoon, SK, prior to enlisting.  Evans Lake, near Kane Lake, SK was named in his honour.

 

Ships served in:

HMCS UNICORN - Enlisted 04 Sep 1943. Commenced active service 22 Dec 1943

HMCS HUSKY - Served in Husky 15 Apr 1944 - 21 Apr 1944 while in training at HMCS Cornwallis as an OS, RCNVR

HMCS SHAWINIGAN - Drafted to Shawinigan 14 Jun 1944 as an OS, RCNVR
