Died: 23 Nov 1993, Duncan, British Columbia

 

HAWES, Steven Warren - passed away peacefully Nov 23, 1993 in Cowichan District Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Roydale, Alberta, May 29, 1915, formerly of Interurban Road, Victoria, he is survived by his loving son, Ken (Donna) Hawes of Ladysmith; loving daughter, Linda (Les) Pinay of Victoria; and five grandsons. Also survived by brothers, Ralph of BC, Lee Hugh; and sister, Lyle of Alberta. Predeceased by brother, Art; and sister, Beryl. Graveside service will be held at Shawnigan Lake Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, Rev. Merv Skey officiating.
