Born: 07 Mar 1921, Beausejour, Manitoba

 

Died: 11 May 2013, Victoria, British Columbia

 

Served 16 Apr 1939 - 16 Sep 1960

 

OWSIANSKI, Casimir James (Cas) - Passed peacefully from this world on May 11, 2013 at the age of 92. 'Cas' will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Eileen; son, Donald (Nadine); grandsons, Kevin (Janelle) and Graeme. Cas was predeceased by his son, Neil. Cas was born in Beausejour, Manitoba to Mary and Joseph on March 7, 1921. He was one of nine children. He is survived by his younger brother, Hank (Fran) and many nieces and nephews. Cas served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the WWII and the Korean war. He worked for the Bank of Montreal for over 20 years until he retired to care for his beloved garden in Esquimalt.
