FALOON, Gary Moody - Age 80, passed away overnight July 13, 2020, at his home in Dartmouth. It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to a dear father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. Born in St. Stephen, N.B., on September 11, 1939, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Virginia (Moody) Faloon. Gary retired from the Royal Canadian Navy as Chief Engineer in 1993 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed spending time there teaching others to play pool. Another favorite pastime was the time he spent at his camp with friends and family fishing and hunting. Gary was predeceased by his loving wife, Marie (Wamboldt) of 53 years; his brother, Albert; sister-in-law Jo Ann; and most recently his constant furry com panion Blackie. He will be greatly missed by son, Darrin (Debbie) of Lawrencetown; grandsons, Steven (Sarah Hounsell) of Dartmouth; Matthew, Lawrencetown; great-granddaughter, Amelia, whom he loved to share pictures of; brother, Bob (Diane); and many nieces, nephews and friends. Legion send off at a later date. Graveside service will be held for family only on Wednesday, July 22nd at 3 p.m. with Rev. Vivian Morse officiating in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
