LIZNICK, Harry - (1925 - 16 February 2005) The family announces with sorrow his death at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls, ON, on Wednesday, February 16th, 2005 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee Simpson), loving father of Debra (William) Rouse of Kirkland Lake, ON, Hal Liznick and Daryl (Nancy) Liznick both of Iroquois Falls, ON. He will stay in the hearts of his grandchildren Courtney and Sagan Rouse and Bradly and Jennifer Liznick. He will be missed by his siblings Peter (Mary) Liznick, Bill (Kaye) Liznick, Anne (Late Arthur) Trick, John (Marie) Liznick, Julie (William) Richardson, Rose (Late Dave) Sprowl and Danny (Sandy) Liznick. Predeceased by his wife Catherine, parents Bill and Mary as well as his brother George. Mr. Liznick was a proud Legion Member who served in the Royal Canadian Navy on the ATHABASKAN destroyer. He was also a prisoner of war. Friends may call the Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 DeTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, on Friday February 18th, 2005 from 7 to 9pm. A Legion Service will be held Saturday, February 19th, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Irvine Funeral Home Chapel. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
