Frank Damien Campbell is buried in the Seaview Cemetery, Pictou, NS.

 

Citation for OBE:  Awarded as per Canada Gazette of 15 Jun 1946 and London Gazette of 13 Jun 1946. "This Officer proved invaluable to the Royal Canadian Navy in his capacity of Commodore of Coastal Convoys sailing between Canada, Newfoundland and the United States during the Battle of the Atlantic. He was the first Canadian Naval Officer to hold such an appointment, and he performed his duties with unusual willingness, consideration and co-operation with ship Masters and Shore Authorities and proved an invaluable asset to the Naval Service."
