MORRISON, Daniel Angus, AB, V61354, RCNVR, died - 19 Nov 1944, HMCS MOOSE - Son of John Charles and Katharine Morrison, of Englehart.

 

Able Seaman D. A. Morrison died due to drowning whilst returning from Point Edward, Nova Scotia, by harbour craft he fell out of the boat while docking. His body was recovered.

 

AB Morrison is buried in the Municipal Cemetery, Englehart, ON.

HMCS YORK - Enlisted 17 May 1943. Commenced Active Service 18 May 1943

HMCS REINDEER - Served in REINDEER 09 Apr 1944 - 14 Apr 1944 as an OS, RCNVR while in training at HMCS CORNWALLIS 

HMCS MOOSE - Drafted to MOOSE 13 Jun 1944 as an AB, RCNVR
