Died: 02 Dec 2004, Thunder Bay, Ontario

 

McEACHERN, Harry C. - age 80 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Care Group on December 2, 2004. Born on March 14, 1924 in Fort William, he was raised and educated there and attended Fort William Vocational School. Harry was a charter member of the Westfort Kiwanis Club, a member of Port Arthur Rotary Club and served on the board of the Cancer Society for many years. He served in the Canadian Navy RCNVR as a Petty Officer for 4 years plying the North Atlantic in a convoy aboard the HMCS AGASSIZ. Harry is survived by his wife, Edna of 34 years, daughters Patricia Gray and Erica McEachern, dear friend Alfred Tomasini as well as special niece and nephew Judy Lennstrom (Rus) of Arizona and Ken (Laurie) Graham of Gloucester, Ontario. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Foundation would be appreciated.
