BROWN, Gordon Richard (Gordie, Brownie) - passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 3, 1994. Born February 8, 1933 in Fort William, Ontario. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years. Lorraine (Lori); two daughters and their husbands, Julie (ken) McLeod and Heather (Brown (al); four grandchildren, whom he adored, Kristy, Kailee, Joshua and Brandon; sister, Iris (Marcel) Bernier. Gordie was honoured with his 42 Year Service Medal on July 29 1994. He served with the Naden Band, Military School of Music. Upon retiring from active military service he dedicated years of instructing the Youth of Canada in the Sea Cadets. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Service will be held at St. Peter's Chapel, Virago Crescent, Belmont Park, on Monday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m., with Padre H. Self officiating. Cremation. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite #1-947 Fort St. ,Victoria, BC.
