ARTISS, John W. (Jack)
Former Hudonsian, Jack Artiss, died - It was with the greatest regret that we learned of the death of Jack Artiss, former Assistant Buyer of Basement Shoes. Several years ago Mr. Artiss was the victim of polio. He battled is crippling effects most courageously and recovered sufficiently to lend his merchandising facilities to the Goodwill Industries. Some months ago complications developed and Jack had to go back into the iron lung. He died shortly after. Our deepest sympathy to his wife and family. Also to his brother, Frank, Assistant Buyer of Hardware.
