In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
KNOTT, Georgina Rose - It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Georgina at Sunnybrook Veteran's Centre in her 99th year. Loving wife of George (deceased), married 73 years; mother of Rita Davidson (Tom) and Glen Knott (Marion). Beloved grandmother to Sandy and Bradley Davidson, Geoffrey and Colin Knott. Great-grandmother to George, Charlie, Jack, Ben and Francis. Georgina proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy (WRCNS) and as a Volunteer Flower Desk Lady at North York General Hospital. Georgina's passionate love of all animals was fostered by everyone in the family - she would even carry a spider outside because 'he might have plans for tonight too'. She was firm but fair and never forgot her humble roots as a newlywed in Pickering. Those who knew Georgina will miss her sense of humour, ladylike manner and love of life. Special thanks to nurse Grace Qing Yu, the care team in LSSW 2nd Street West, and Dr. David Shergold.
