BRODIE, Clarence, AB, V64072, RCNVR, died - 01 Sep 1944, HMCS LA MALBAIE - Son of Clarence and Isabelle Agnes Brodie, of Amherst, NS.

 

Able Seaman C. Brodie accidentally died from drowning; he fell from HMCS LA MALBAIE when going down to the floating dock at St. John's, Newfoundland Harbour. He is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland.
