HOOPER, Frederick, OS, V23338, RCNVR, died - 30 Oct 1942, HMCS NANAIMO - Son of Fred and Helen (Lackie) Hooper (both deceased). Brother of Florence Hooper of Toronto, ON.

 

Ordinary Seaman Frederick Hooper died in Sanatorium, Kentville, Nova Scotia from pulmonary tuberculosis. He is buried in the Canning Trinity United Church Cemetery, NS

HMCS NANAIMO - Served in NANAIMO 18 Mar 1942 - 31 Jul 1942 as an OS, RCNVR

HMCS STADACONA - Served in STADACONA - 01 Aug 1941 - 10 Aug 1942. Discharged Medically Unfit (re: HQ'S W/T 2147/29 Jul 1942)
