Died: 11 Mar 1997, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

HAYMAN, Gordon Thomas - 64, Truro, died Tuesday, March 11, 1997 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Camp Hill Site, Halifax.  Born in Truro, he was the son of Marguerite Hayman, Truro, and the late Gove Hayman.

 

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and serve in the Royal Canadian Navy for 20 years. After, he was a member of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires for 10 years.

 

He is survived by his widow, the former Janet Fulton; daughters Cindy Poirier, Caledonia, Ont.; Heather Vanvnderen, Truro; son, David, Campbell River, B.C.; sister, Miriam (Bunny), Halifax; six grandchildren.

 

Arrangements entrusted to the Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St., Dartmouth. In accordance with his wishes, no service. Burial will be at sea. All memorials respectfully declined.
