COLE, Cyril Edward, AB, V72749, RCNVR, Killed - 08 Apr 1945, HMCS DUNVER - Son of Arthur Joseph and Kathleen Cole, of Halifax, NS. Able Seaman C. E. Cole was killed aboard HMCS DUNVER due to an accident at sea. Able Seaman Cole was struck in the head by the carrier after a thrower during a practice drill and was killed instantly. He was buried at sea.

HMCS MONTCALM - Served in MONTCALM 30 Dec 1943 - 28 Feb 1944 as an OS, RCNVR

HMCS DUNVER - Drafted to DUNVER 20 Jul 1944 as an OS, RCNVR.  Rated AB 22 Dec 1944
