FOWLER, Leonard, OS, V7934, RCNVR, died - 10 Jun 1941, HMCS MOONBEAM - Son of Bernard and Phyllis Fowler; husband of Edna Gwendolyn Fowler, all of Toronto, ON. 

 

Ordinary Seaman L. Fowler drowned when he fell overboard from HMCS Moonbeam in the Halifax harbour. He lost his balance, falling overboard, while endeavouring to catch the painter of the ship's boat coming alongside. His body was recovered. He was buried in the St. James' Cemetery, Toronto, ON.
