RAMESBOTTOM, Edward, ERA 3c, A2858, RCNR, died - 25 Dec 1942, HMCS MOONBEAM - Son of John and Jane Ramesbottom; husband of Marion Ramesbottom, of Sarnia, ON.
Engine Room Artificer 3rd Class Edward. Ramesbottom was found dead in his cabin on board HMCS Moonbeam. The cause of his death was considered natural causes due to insufficient evidence that points to anyone thing. He is buried in the Anglican Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland.
Edward's son, John Edward Ramesbottom, served in the RCNVR during the Second World War.
