Died: 04 Nov 2006, Burnaby, British Columbia

 

WESTCOTT, James Arthur  - Born May 14, 1913 in Estevan, Sask. Passed on peacefully, Saturday November 4, 2006 at St. Michael's Centre Hospice, in Burnaby. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (nee Leonard), his brothers Carl, Henry and Martin, and his daughter Leona Watson. Survived by his son Peter, and Leona's son Charles and daughter Nancy. During WWII Jim was a CPO in the Royal Navy and later in the Royal Canadian Navy, caring for the sick and injured. His good works carry on quietly. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will missed by his many friends, neighbours and relatives. A service will be held on Remembrance Day, Saturday November 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Burkeview Family Funeral Care, 1340 Dominion Ave., Port Coquitlam, BC, (604) 944-4128. with coffee or tea to follow at the home of Peter and Karla Westcott, if you wish to join us.
