Joseph Gaston Vallée

Born: 22 Dec 1917, Montreal, Quebec

 

Died: 16 Jun 1959, Montreal, Quebec

 

At the start of the Second World War, Gaston volunteered for the Navy. However, when his father received the notice from the Navy for service, he just threw away the paper. He was quite surprised when the MPs showed up at his door to locate Gaston.

 

Gaston is buried in the Cotes des Neiges Cemetery, in Montreal.

 

Gaston's brother Roland Vallée also served in the Navy during the Second World War.
