Anselme Joseph Guillaume d'Entremont

          Died: 19 Dec 1917, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

d'ENTREMONT, Anselme Joseph Guillaume, died 19 Dec 1917, Steam Tug Stella Maris - "of shock and injuries in explosion.. Burns of limbs, chest and neck. Toxemia." in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. He was the son of Thadée d`Entremont and Vênérante d`Entremont . He was born and grew up in West Pubnico. He was married to Marie-Heniette d`Entremeont. He had two children, Jeanne May October 5 1913 and Lawrence Anselme born 1915. His residence listed on his death certificate was SS Stella Maris. He is buried with his father at West Pubnico in the St-Pierre Cemetery. There is a photo of his grave stone but none has been found of him. He appeared in the 1891 and the 1901 Canadian Census in West Pubnico. (Researched by Bruce Brannen)
