RANDALL, Arnold Morris - 76, Halifax, formerly of Upper LaHave, died June 14, 1996, in Veterans Memorial Building, Halifax. Born in Upper LaHave, he was a son of the late capt. Morris H. and Mary (Morash) Randall. He volunteered to serve in the Royal Canadian Navy, serving from 1939 to 1962 when he retired due to ill health (Multiple Sclerosis). He served overseas during the Second World War and the Korean Conflict. Following retirement from the Navy, he was employed by the Province of Nova Scotia with the Registry of Motor Vehicles and the Victoria General Hospital. He was a charter member of the Mulgrave Park United Baptist Church, Halifax and was a mason of the Lodge of St. Mark, No. 38. He resided at the Veterans Memorial Building since 1985. He served several terms as president of the Veterans Council with many noted accomplishments. Surviving are his wife, the former Marjorie J. Armstrong; daughter, Eleanore (Mrs.. Keith Eddy), Stillwater Lake, Halifax Co.; Gary Randall, Waverley; Doug Randall, Stillwater Lake; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Sinclair. Visitation 7-9 p.m. tonight, 2-4 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Masonic service 7 p.m. tonight all in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, Robie Street. Funeral 1 p.m. Monday in Mulgrave Park United Baptist Church, Sabastian Street, Halifax. Rev. Carl Price and Rev. Gary Myatt. Burial immediately following in Pinehill Baptist Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
