MENTER, George Ray - 64 years, passed away peacefully at WRH Metropolitan Campus on October 20, 2003. Beloved husband and soul mate of Carol. Beloved father of Tara Lingley and husband Mark (Welsford, New Brunswick) and Todd (Edmonton). Pops to Tim and Scott (Welsford, New Brunswick). Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Ida Menter, sister Carol and brother Ronald. Survived by sister Gloria Sanda and husband Donald (St. Thomas, Ont.) and brother David (Eugenie, Oregon). Son-in-law to Vic and Audrey Bing. Brother-in-law to Donna and Rick Paddon. Loving uncle of Kate and Sarah and many more nieces and nephews. George served 24 years with the Royal Canadian Navy and also worked with National Sea Products and with Steeplejack Services in Windsor until his retirement. Cremation has taken place. A Visiting at Riverside United Church, 881 Glidden Ave. on Saturday, November 8, 2003 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. William Gallagher officiating. Memorial Tributes to Riverside United Church or the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated.
