SCOTT, John Paul McHugh - Peacefully at Lasalle General Hospital on April 6, 2005, at the age of eighty-five. He is survived by his dear and beloved wife, Eleanor, of sixty-two years, son Glen (Margaret) of Calgary and daughter, Maureen (Jean-Pierre); grandchildren, Glen Anthony (Tina), Allison (Gary), Scott (Tara), Robert (Kristin), Craig (Jen) and three loving great-grandchildren Hannah, Myles and Will. He will also be sadly missed by his step-grandchildren Sylvie (Eric) and Maryse (Joe), his dear cousin Madeleine and her daughter Marlene, as well as many friends from Lafleur Golf Club and from his cherished bowling leagues. The family will receive condolences one hour prior to a funeral service, in the presence of ashes, at the funeral chapel of 3955 Cote-de-Liesse, St. Laurent. (Memorial Park) at 11 a.m. on April 11, 2005. A celebration of Paul's life will be held in Calgary at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. (The Montreal Gazette 08 Apr 2005)
