In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
BROWN, Kenneth George - Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough in his 88th year. Ken spent 25 years with the Canadian Navy and resided in Bobcaygeon, Ontario between 1987 - 2019 before moving to Peterborough to be closer to family. He will forever be loved and missed by his wife, Marjorie (nee Smith) and his children, Ken (Cathy), Bob (Lynn), David (Linda), Steve (Terri), Andy (Debbie), and Kenny. Ken leaves behind his 17 wonderful grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, as well as his dog, Bailey. He is survived by his brothers, Gord (Gina) Brown and Robert Brown. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at The Hendren Funeral Homes - Monk Chapel, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at The Knox Presbyterian Church - 6 Joseph Street, Bobcaygeon, Ontario with interment at Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon to follow. Friends are invited back to the church for a reception after the interment. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. The Kawartha Region News 15 Jul 2022)
